1: Pre-Planning
We've created a LOT of personalized greetings over the years! Whether you need help coming up with ideas, or you already know exactly what you want, we're ready to help!
We'll first need to establish a theme, a date/time, and set your budget.
For your convenience, We offer pre-designed packages which can be customized to your tastes, or we can create something totally new and unique.
2: Site Selection
Once we decide on a theme and a date/time, we'll also choose the location for your greeting.
It might be at your home, a special events venue, a school, or even at a workplace.
Wherever you choose, we'll make any necessary arrangements.
3: Step 3...
Next, we'll discuss even more options.
4: Invitations
If you'd like us to handle any invitations and "publicity," we are glad to do that for you. Alternatively, we can design and produce the invitations for you to distribute.
5: Setup and Decoration
When the time comes, we'll be standing by and ready to spring into action to convert your chosen venue into "the greeting to remember."
Our staff will execute the whole plan for you, so you don't have to worry about a thing.
6: Teardown / Cleanup
Finally, after all the fun is over and the memories are made, our team will handle all of the teardown and cleanup duties. We'll restore the venue to its previous condition and ensure that all applicable requirements are met.

Standard Greeting
$95, plus tax.
This Standard Greeting is what Sign Gypsies has always offered. Your greeting will always include name, age, graphics, stars and balloons. I do not place a limit on graphics--if I have it available, I will incorporate it. I want your greeting to STAND OUT!
Single Custom Phrase (Other than Happy Birthday)
$105 and up, plus tax.
Examples would be: Welcome Home, Business or corporate celebrations, Baby announcements, Wedding announcements, Sporting events, and many more.
Graduation Greeting
$119 + tax Package A – Includes Congrats, grad cap, 2023, single name or no name, sport/interest graphics and choice of color.
$159 + tax Package B – Includes Congrats, grad cap, 2023, single name, sport/interest graphics, choice of color and collegiate keepsake graphic *must be ordered 3-4 weeks in advance*

Do I get to keep the sign?
Unfortunately, no, you don't get to keep it. We are a rental service. We will occasionally offer custom purchase options but those will be listed separately in our online store (coming soon).
What’s included in my Greeting, and how much does it cost?
Prices are all inclusive. They include phrase greeting, graphics, design, delivery, set up and removal. Check out our pricing and rental option prices under our PRICING tab.

When are the signs set up?
Signs are delivered during the evening hours, the day before your celebration. We cannot provide a specific time for arrival, as we place & pickup signs in the best order for that particular night. We begin ALL setup and pickup activities at 8pm and will continue our route until we are finished for the night. We may be in your yard LATE into the evening, so it is a good idea to silence your notifications if you have a video doorbell. We do send a photo confirmation when we are finished.
School, special events or non-surprise signs may be setup earlier in the day by request.
What if it rains or we have severe weather? Are your greetings waterproof?
Yes, our signs are waterproof! We will even set up in the rain, if there is NO lightning! Being in Texas, occasionally severe weather will prevent us from setting up entirely or we may have to pick up early. In the event we must cancel or change the timing of your greeting, you will be notified in as much advance as possible. We always try to work around the weather event, but you do have the option of a full refund.
Do you take last minute orders?
Yes! If we have the availability and the inventory, we can do next day orders!
How long will the sign stay in my yard?
REGULAR HOURS (setup after 8pm - pickup after 8pm): Signs are set up in the evening hours & picked up the following evening. We do offer additional days as an add-on fee if you'd like to keep the sign for an extended period (based on availability).
*We cannot guarantee an exact delivery or pickup time, as it varies from day to day depending on the location of other signs & time spent at each location.
Do I need to be there for set up or tear down?
No, you do not. You simply place the order with us, pay your invoice, and we will handle the rest! You are free to let us know your preference for yard placement, but we try to place our signs in a highly visible area, and we always text you a photo of the finished product when we leave! If you have a SPECIFIC location, you'd like the sign to be placed, please communicate those wishes prior to our arrival to avoid a $50 reset fee.
Can the greetings be used indoors? Or only outside?
We do offer indoor setups! Indoor setups are great for fundraisers, events, concerts, photo booths, etc. Visit our pricing page for information on indoor setups.
Can I set up or take down the sign myself?
Unfortunately, No. Our signs must be set up by trained Sign Gypsies. This ensures you receive the best greeting possible & will be a true reflection of our brand standards. Pickups must be handled in the same manner to avoid damage to the signs. We thank you for your understanding! This policy also allows for a complete zero-contact experience!
Policies & Procedures
NOBODY likes to read rules and policies, we TOTALLY get it. BUT this information IS important so you can know what to expect from us, and what we also expect from you before you rent a yard greeting!

*When signs are booked &/or paid for, you have agreed to all policies prior to setup*
PAYMENTS & DELIVERY:
- Preparing a greeting takes a lot of prep work to get the details right! Due to this, payment is required a minimum of 24 hrs prior to delivery of yard greeting. In the event of non-payment, a cancellation notification will be sent via Square notifying you of the cancelation of greeting.Greeting may be modified due to yard size and condition. If you are unsure if your yard will accommodate the size greeting you've ordered please email us ahead of time with a photo just so we can ensure you've selected an appropriate package.
- Due to the unique nature of each setup and # of greetings booked each day, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery/pick up time. We only guarantee that the greeting will be delivered within the window specified on your confirmation.
- There is no need for you to be home during delivery or removal. We will install your greeting quickly and quietly in the best location for aesthetic and installation purposes. If requested, we will leave a note on the doorknob for the recipient with the sender’s name to let them know who the yard greeting is from.
- If your greeting is a surprise for an address other than your own, we require that you please notify someone in that household that we will be on the property during the scheduled window for setup and take down. This is for our safety but also to help keep the surprise. By booking the sign and providing payment, you agree that we have permission to be on the property and the homeowner has been given all instructions/expectations (thoroughly watering, holding lawn service, not moving/removing the greeting, etc). The purchaser is responsible for the sign while placed in the yard, regardless of if they live at address & should forward our policies to homeowner.
- If the rental is a surprise evening setup for another member of your household: please close blinds/drapes during the delivery time window and leave an outside light on for us so we can identify the address easily.
- Please water your yard in the days leading up to your delivery. If a 6" screwdriver can easily penetrate the ground, you will have a happy Gypsy! If we are unable to install a greeting due to ground conditions when we arrive, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN due to time spent prepping, traveling and ATTEMPT to install.
- We cannot put signs in pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, thick landscaping, hard packed soil that has been used as a driveway, for example. We install signs on lawns. We define lawns as unobstructed soil with grass on the top.
- Please do NOT remove our signs from your lawn for ANY reason. If they need to be taken down before your scheduled removal time, please contact us and we will take care of it ASAP.
PERSONAL INJURIES & DAMAGES:
- We encourage you to pose next to the display for photographs, but for the safety of everyone, please do not touch, lean on, or play near the display. Our items will not safely support any weight or pressure.
- We will not be held liable for injuries or damages that occur.
- Please do NOT attach anything (balloons, silly string, decorations, etc.) to any part of the display.
- Please do NOT mow, edge around or take down the yard sign display for lawn maintenance purposes. Damage caused by mowing & yard maintenance will be assessed & billed at our replacement cost.
- If you have a lawn service scheduled during the duration of your display it is your responsibility to inform them of this policy or simply reschedule them to come after the sign is removed.
- If you have any outdoor pets, please keep them away from the signs. Damage caused by pets will be assessed & billed at our replacement cost. We strongly encourage you to keep them fenced in a separate area or indoors for the duration of your rental.
- All signs are the property of Sign Gypsies, you will be held responsible for all damages/replacement charges.
- Sign Gypsies and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.
PHOTO & ADVERTISING RELEASE:
- We will photograph your yard greeting rental for use on our business website, Instagram, and Facebook pages and publicly congratulate the recipient unless you otherwise inform us not to do so.
- We will place a small sign in your yard with our contact info. This sign is unobtrusive to your custom greeting, please do not move it.
- We respectfully reserve the right to cancel an order if we feel the delivery area may be unsafe for our employees or our signs. We will contact you if this situation arises to decide on an alternative arrangement/solution.
- We will not be able to set up or take down the display under severe hazardous weather conditions including but not limited to hail, lightning & excessive wind.
- We will do our best to make alternative scheduling arrangements, but if we are unable to set up a greeting because of severe weather, you will receive a full refund.
- We reserve the right to pickup a greeting early if hazardous weather conditions arise.
- If you must cancel your yard greeting, you must do so AT LEAST 48 hours BEFORE your scheduled delivery in order to receive a refund.
- Rescheduling a greeting for any reason is subject to availability.
- If we are are provided the incorrect address for delivery, refunds will not be provided if sign has been placed. Addresses are copied & pasted directly from the booking form. PLEASE double check address prior to our arrival. In the event we have been provided an incorrect address & we can not install the sign, signs will be refunded up to $50 if they have not yet been placed. If we must reset the sign at a different address, there will be a $50 reset fee assessed.
Customer agrees to protect, defend, indemnify Sign Gypsies Argyle and hold its officers, employees and agents free and harmless from and against any and all losses, penalties, damages, settlements, costs, charges, professional fees, or other expenses or liabilities of every kind and character arising out of or relating to any and all claims, liens, demands, obligations, actions, proceedings or causes of action of every kind and character in connection with or arising directly or indirectly out of the Sign Gypsies Argyle rental agreement and/or the performance thereof. Customer further agrees to investigate, handle, respond to, provide defense for any such claims, etc., at his sole expense and agrees to bear all other costs and expenses related thereto, even if it (claims, etc.) is groundless, false or fraudulent. The agreement is in effect for the duration of the rental process as defined by the effective dates of the rental agreement.

Guidelines: Finding and Closing On Your Dream Home in 45 Days!
